Senior Network Engineer
Skills & Experience:
* Prefer expert level knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, Windows
2000/XP, networking workstations in a Windows network environment.
* Installation and configuration of applications for a network environment.
* Structured problem solving skills are essential. Our clients will present you
with technical problems and challenges you've never seen before. You won't be
expected to know the answer, but you will be expected to find a way to resolve
the issues using: your reasoning skills, resources on the web, through support
software, and the technical support team.
* Detailed documentation of services provided and methods used is standard part
of work product you will be expected to deliver.
* You will enhance network engineering staff accomplishments and competence by
planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for
less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team
members.
* Reliability, responsibility, and ability to follow-through are key attributes
we are looking for.
This position requires demonstrated hands-on experience working with:
* Windows 2000/2003 server
* MS Exchange Servers
* Active Directory
* Backup Exec
* Internet DNS/E-mail/Communication issues
* Workstations
Successful engineers have growth opportunity with larger projects, project
management and positions of Lead Engineer.
* Strongly prefer five (5) years of experience and MCSE;
* or Six+ years of experience.
